The NKD Group is one of the leading textile retailers with around 8.000 employees. Ulrich Hanfeld follows Frank Beeck, who left the company at his own request after the initial difficult phase of the restructuring through cost management, the profit of market shares and an improved operational performance had been concluded. Mr. Beeck is still available as an advisor to the company. All other business departments (Finance, Sales and Purchase) remain unchanged.<\/p>\n<p>Ulrich Hanfeld offers almost 20 years of management experience in the field of fashion \/ retail as well as a long-term operational experience in purchasing, marketing and multi-channel sales. Since 1996, he worked for the OTTO Group as COO and Manager of several subsidiaries, since 2009 as CEO of the Multi-Channel retail group OTTO Japan, where he was responsible for the strategic and operational management of the business units and the further development of the business portfolio. From 212 to 2014 Hanfeld was CEO of Tristyle Group, the leading Multi-Channel mail order company for fashion in the segment of best-ager.<\/p>\n<p>Ulrich Hanfeld: \u201cThe approach of the NKD Group to offer high quality at an attractive price has great potential for further growth in Germany and also in our European neighboring countries.
