NKD is looking for store locations throughout Austria that meet the following requirements:
- Cities or district centres with populations of at least 5,000 and very good infrastructure.
- Tourist or spa regions with populations of less than 5,000.
- Inner city: A+ locations in paedestrian areas and malls that are highly frequented by customers and have a large number of chain stores.
- Commercial areas: specialist retail centres with an attractive mix of segments in areas with good traffic connections and sufficient parking.
- Sales area: approx. 300 m2 to 450 m²
- A floor plan that is as square as possible, no columns
- Impressive shop front at least 10 m wide
- Shop width: at least 10 m
- Ancillary rooms: approx. 50 m² (staffroom, toilet and storage)
- Ground floor or equipped with a goods lift
